Maintaining a close relationship between design, engineering and manufacturing ensures that even the most complex systems and parts will be manufactured as designed, and will perform as specified.
Mechanical parts
Prior to manufacturing the mechanical parts, our engineering team evaluates: lifecycle requirements, operating conditions, stress limitations, gear tooth configuration, tolerances, manufacturability. All high-strength gears and spline shafts used in our products are made with high quality alloys and under comprehensive multi-point quality control over the entire manufacturing process.
Material strength data related to main failure modes such as pitting or tooth root breakage, used for designing high-stress gears, is often obtained from our extensive testing experience.
Electric motors
For the electrical machine parts we utilize only high-quality electrical steels with the best magnetic properties and coatings, which offer good manufacturability and the best performance in the final application. Magnet wire and insulation materials we use high temperature index of 200°C, good performance under heat shock and high temperature overload conditions.
Our products are subject to thorough quality control procedures throughout their manufacture to ensure their technical specifications are consistently met.
Electronic boards and modules.
Our electronic modules are designed for reliability as much as for performance, and good design practices are followed throughout the entire process.
In order to make accurate estimations of our systems and subsystems’ reliability, we scrutinize the prognostic health of critical components. Accelerated life testing via simulation of operating and storage conditions is used to quantify the health of critical components and probability of their failures. Only the best electronic parts and components are used to reach the high level of reliability of our systems.
To maintain high level of safety and reliability of our systems in harsh environmental conditions (e.g. dust, humidity, and vibration), Hall-effect sensors, encoders and Hall-effect buttons are utilized, due to their contactless principle of operation. We also apply only the best quality conformal coatings and potting, which play a critical role in ensuring reliability under harsh conditions of electronic components such as printed circuit boards (PCB’s), modules, sensors and electronic assemblies.
